Naila Saeed’s journey is a true testament to the Canadian dream. Arriving as an immigrant 25 years ago, she worked tirelessly to build a better future—not just for herself, but for her community. With a Master’s in Public Administration, she embraced the opportunities Canada offers and started humbly in a basement with just a few children. Through hard work, resilience, and determination, she built a successful childcare network that now has over 25 franchisees across Ontario.                                 

Beyond entrepreneurship, Naila has been a tireless advocate for women’s empowerment, youth leadership, and supporting vulnerable communities. She has worked on initiatives for the homeless, seniors, and children with special needs, while championing a stronger education system. During the pandemic, she helped create jobs and stood by small businesses, ensuring they had the support they needed. Naila is also a passionate advocate for universal healthcare, believing that quality healthcare should be quickly accessible to everyone, and delays must be eliminated.                                  

Now, she’s ready to take the next step— to serve Aurora—Oak Ridges—Richmond Hill , the place she proudly calls home with her beautiful family. With passion, experience, and a deep love for this community, Naila is committed to building a more just, affordable, and inclusive future for all.

I am running for office because I am deeply committed to serving our community and effecting real, positive change in the lives of the people I hold dear. As a proud Canadian, educator, entrepreneur, philanthropist, mother, and passionate advocate for social justice, I’ve witnessed firsthand the obstacles our neighbors face—rising costs of living, limited access to healthcare, education, and job opportunities. These challenges have driven me to take action and bring forth meaningful solutions.

While the election came sooner than expected, leaving us with little time to prepare, I am undeterred in my resolve. This campaign is about giving a voice to every individual in our community and ensuring that their needs and aspirations are met. It’s about shaping a future that truly reflects our shared values and hopes.

My Core Priorities:

1. Affordability & Cost of Living – Families are under immense financial strain, struggling to keep up with increasing costs. I will fight for policies that alleviate this burden—be it through affordable housing, lower living costs, or making essential goods more accessible.
2. Healthcare & Education – Access to quality healthcare and education is a fundamental right. I will champion policies that strengthen our healthcare system and ensure our children receive the education they deserve, so they can thrive in an ever-changing world.
3. Community Support & Representation – I believe in being a true representative for the people—one who listens and acts on their concerns. Fairness, inclusivity, and active engagement are cornerstones of my approach to governance.
4. Economic Growth & Job Creation – A prosperous community relies on economic opportunity. I am committed to supporting small businesses, creating jobs, and fostering a local economy that provides for all.
5. Empowering Women & Youth – A strong, forward-thinking society requires the inclusion and leadership of women and youth in decision-making. I will work to ensure that their voices are heard, respected, and elevated.

The outpouring of support from my family, friends, and the community has been deeply moving. With election day rapidly approaching, I look forward to engaging with as many of you as I can, as we come together to build a brighter future for our community.
