Community Service · 1999 to 2026

Serving our community since 1999.

As founder and CEO of EYES Child Care, an immigrant, and a working mother, Naila has spent more than two decades, from 1999 to today, supporting families, mentoring youth, standing with seniors, and strengthening the organizations that hold our community together.

Whether mentoring youth, supporting seniors, volunteering at community events, assisting food banks, or fundraising for local causes, Naila believes that service is one of the most powerful ways to create positive change, and she has lived that belief every year since 1999.

Her commitment to giving back reflects a simple belief: strong communities are built when people support one another, invest in future generations, and work together so everyone has the opportunity to succeed. What began with a single home daycare in 1999 grew into EYES Child Care and a lifetime of service, on advisory boards, at the Chamber of Commerce, with newcomer and family-support organizations, and shoulder-to-shoulder with residents at community events across the Greater Toronto Area.

Through leadership, mentorship, advocacy, and volunteerism, Naila continues to champion the values of compassion, inclusion, accountability, and civic responsibility that help communities thrive. As CEO of EYES Child Care, she brings that same practical, people-first approach to everything she does, and now, to her campaign for Ward 7.
