MEET NAILA SAEED

My name is Naila Saeed, and I am proud to stand as a candidate for Mississauga City Council in Ward 7.

For more than two decades, I have dedicated my life to building stronger communities, supporting families, creating opportunities for children, and advocating for residents from all walks of life. As the Founder and CEO of EYES Childcare, I have successfully built and operated childcare centres serving hundreds of families, creating jobs, supporting working parents, and helping children reach their full potential. Over the past year alone, we have established 11 centres across the Peel Region.

My journey began as an immigrant who understood the challenges many families face when finding affordable childcare, accessing community services, navigating government systems, and building a better future for the next generation. Through hard work, determination, and a commitment to service, I transformed those challenges into opportunities to help others.

Beyond business, I have spent years volunteering, mentoring youth, supporting newcomers, advocating for seniors, and working alongside community organizations to strengthen neighbourhoods and create meaningful change. My commitment to public service previously led me to run federally, where I championed issues such as affordability, childcare, housing, public safety, small business growth, and community development.

Ward 7 deserves a councillor who understands both the challenges facing residents and the practical solutions required to address them. As a business leader, community builder, and advocate, I bring proven experience in managing budgets, leading teams, building partnerships, and delivering results.

I am not running to begin serving the community; I am running because serving the community has been my life's work.
